The Ne-O-Tez family remembers and celebrates the life and legacy of Lowell Beauchamp, who passed away on Thanksgiving, November 23. Lowell was one of the founders of Camp Ne-O-Tez, that group of Christians who had the vision in 1962 to start a Christian summer camp in the greater St. Louis area.
Lowell served on the inaugural Board of Directors and continued on the board for many years. He directed weekly camp sessions for several summers and spent countless hours working on projects at Camp.
Lowell and his wife Lois supported Camp for 55 years. There have been four generations of the Beauchamp family involved in Ne-O-Tez. We will miss his presence at Camp events, but the impacts of Lowell’s efforts will be felt for as long as Ne-O-Tez exists.
Our prayers go out for his family at this time.
The funeral was held on Tuesday, November 28. The family requests no flowers, but that memorials be sent to Camp Ne-O-Tez.
