Important Stuff for Your Camper to Know
Cost for regular sessions is $230 and $125 for Pre-Camp session with a $20 discount for applying 30 days before your week. Summer camping fees only cover the costs of summer camp. Camp Neotez is blessed to be able to have an all-volunteer staff and facilities we own. Partial need-based scholarships for campers are available. Please ask your congregation, youth minister, or camp director for more information.
Camper age groups are based on the camper’s last grade completed in the 2022-2023 school year.
Camp week registration will be from 3-5 p.m. each Sunday. Parents should pick up campers from 9:00-10:00 a.m. the following Saturday. For the PreCamp session, pick up will be at 5:30 pm on Tuesday.
Camper mail should be sent to “Camper’s Name,” Camp Neotez, 6266 Big River Heights Rd., Desoto, MO 63020.
The Camp phone number is 636.586.9756 which should be used only to reach people at camp in case of emergency. The staff of Neotez is not responsible for injuries occurring to campers, staff, or visitors while on the premises. Hospital facilities are a 30-minute drive from the camp.
Camper Expectations
Your help in building a Christian atmosphere of love is essential; Neotez is your camp and will only be as good as you make it.
Your participation in scheduled activities is important; Bible class and devotional attendance is required.
You are expected to stay within the designated camp areas as set by the director.
You are asked to respect for others and their property, including the camp facilities and equipment. PLEASE – NO GRAFFITI!
You are expected to refrain from smoking, vaping, alcohol, drugs, and profanity.
Do not bring any portable electronic devices such as radios, CD players, mp3 players, TVs, or video games. Also, no beepers, cell phones, knives, guns, fireworks, or firearms will be permitted.
You are expected to wear modest clothing. If you are asked to change, we ask that you cooperate with and respect the decision of the Director and staff.
You are asked to keep all food around the dining hall and canteen, as animals will come in the cabins for food.
You are asked not to bring any snack food from home.
You are expected to have an awesome week!
Packing List
Use this checklist to make sure that you have everything you need to have an awesome week at Neotez. Before you go, make sure you have packed:
- Your Bible
- A pencil or pen and paper or a notebook
- Bedding and/or a sleeping bag and pillow (It can get cool at night.)
- Toiletries, washcloths and towels (Pack towels for showering and swimming.)
- A good flashlight and extra batteries
- Clothing suitable for Christian camping
- Cloth or disposable face masks
- A swimsuit
- Jacket and rainwear
- Flip-flops for shower and pool; athletic shoes for everything else.
- A cheerful and cooperative Christian attitude
